This is the new features of Civil 3D 2008. Plans Production tool can be helped to quickly create sheets that automatically display segments of alignments and profiles in your plan. We are now have this tool, doesn't need to manually rotate the title block along the alignment, and rotate the annotation and dimensions in order to be able to read these pieces of information. This saves you from having to make many manual changes when your design data changes.
Create View Frames
Before you create view frames, you must have the desired alignment in your drawing.
1- Click General pull-down menu -> Plan Production Tools -> Create View Frames
2- In the Create View Frames wizard, on the alignment page, in the alignment list, select alignment (e.g. ALG-(6)).
3- In the Station Range section, select Automatic. This selects the entire alignment. Click Next
4- On the Sheets page, in the Sheet Settings section, select Plan and Profile. This will create sheets that display both plan and profile views for each view frame.
5- In the View Frame Placement section, select Along alignment. This setting aligns the view frames along the alignment. Click Next
6- View frame groups are created automatically. This page lets you specify the object creation criteria for the view frame group object. Click Next
7- Match lines are straight lines that are drawn across an alignment in plan view to indicate where the corresponding sheet for that alignment begins and ends. Click Next
8- In the Profile Views, under Profile View Style, select Existing Profile View Style.
9- Under Band Set, select Cut and Fill. Click Create View Frames.
10- The View Frames appear along the alignment in the drawing window. The match lines appear as red lines between the view frames.
Although it was created, it have an option to modify the orientation about the frame and match line by clicking the indicate marks.
As above picture shows the annotation for the match line (refer to step 5).
In toolspace, on the Prospector tab, expand View Frames and match Lines collections. Notice that they contain the same components you created during the view frame group creation process.
Create Sheets
Click General pull-down menu -> Plan Production Tools -> Create Sheets
11- In the Create Sheets wizard, on the View Frame Group and Layouts page, in the View Frame Group section, select View Frame Group (e.g. VFG- ALG (6) - (4)). Notice that you may select all view frames in the group or a selection of view frames within the currently selected view frame group.
12- In the Layout Creation section, select All layouts in the current drawing. Click Next
13- In the Sheet set page, on the Sheet Set area, select New sheet set.
14- Click next to Sheet Set File (.DST) Storage Location. Click Next to display the Profile Views page.
15- In the Profile Views page, in the Other Profile View Options section, select an existing profile view (e.g. ALG -(6)20). Click Create Sheets

16- When prompted, pan to a clear area in the drawing, then click a location for the profile view origin.
17- Finally click the layout tab to select the layout which you want to display.
