New mental ray physical sun and physical sky shaders

Maya8.5 Mental Ray rendering
- New mental ray physical sun and physical sky shaders have been added !!
The mental ray physical sun (mia_physicalsun) & sky shaders mia_physicalsky)are designed to enable physically plausible daylight simulations and very accurate renderings of daylight scenarios.
In Render Settings , select Mental Ray renderer , under Environment section ,"Physical Sun and Sky "click "Create"

Just render a single frame from scene , at default setting . It look like a Sunshine day light

Actually , Maya had automatically created a network of nodes that implement the mia_physicalsun and
mia_physicalsky shaders.
Some parameters of mia_physicalsun and mia_physicalsky are sync with eachother .
e.g. Haze and RedBlueshift etc. so ,you only need to adjust mia_physicalsky haze value .

Select the sunDirection ( Directional Light ) in scene or in outliner , change the direction of it (Rotate),
to create a sunset effect.

In Attribute Editor ,mia_physicalsky tab > multiplier ,
it is a scalar multiplier for the light output. The default is 1.0.

In Attribute Editor ,mia_physicalsky tab > Haze ,
To sets the amount of haze in the air.

In Attribute Editor ,mia_physicalsky tab > Red/Blue Shift,
Gives artistic control over the "redness" of the light.Can be changed with this parameter which ranges from -1.0 (extremely blue) to 1.0 (extremely red).

In Attribute Editor , mia_physicalsun tab > Shadow_softness,
It is the softness for the soft shadows. A value of 1.0 is the value which matches the softness of real solar shadow most accurately. Lower values makes the shadows sharper and higher softer.

The network of nodes is connected to all existing renderable cameras.
If you add a new camera after the creation of sun and sky, the network needs to be updated accordingly.
To do , in view of new camera , In Attribute Editor , mia_physicalsky tab > click update Camera Connections.
to remove the camera , you can with select your camera ,then click Remove Camera Connections
Finally , make sure that it has already turn on final gather in the Render Settings window ,The sun and sky shaders should be used in conjunction with final gather.
If you dont need the sun and sky shaders , select the Delete button in the Environment section of the mental ray tab in the Render Settings window .
